Wild occupies the first line of Pico Cuadro wines.
Its key lies in its origin, it comes entirely from the grapes of Valdecarbonero in Quintanilla de Arriba, planted in 1999. The soils are very poor and heterogeneous going from a limestone-sandy composition at the highest levels to loamy-limestone and stony at medium and low levels.
The location of the plot in an open area of the valley, together with an exceptional exposure and geography, allows an early ripening, preserving good acidity. Important aspects to obtain a well-structured and mature wine but maintaining freshness and within a lively style.
